Please plan to attend the Memphis Blight Elimination Summit on March 17th from Noon to 4:30 p.m. We plan to gather at the University of Memphis Law School to celebrate the release of the Memphis Blight Elimination Charter and Action Plan, and to highlight the many cutting edge programs and projects underway in Memphis. For the first time, Memphis and Shelby County’s civic, government, and grassroots leaders will unite in a coordinated campaign to clean up the blighted properties that diminish the quality of life in all of our neighborhoods.

At the Memphis Blight Elimination Summit, after a luncheon celebrating the completion of the Memphis Blight Elimination Charter and committing to work together to implement its Action Plan, we’ll break out into sessions by area of interest, including code enforcement, environmental court, tax foreclosure, and greening.
