In commemoration of America Recycles Day, the City of Memphis Division of Public Works – Bureau of Solid Waste Management will provide free mulch for Memphis residents.

The Memphis Solid Waste Management Department will provide free mulch for customers on Saturday, November 14^th and – if supplies last – Sunday, November 15^th. Beginning at dawn on Saturday, 200 cubic yards of double-hammered mulch will be available at the Liberty Bowl parking lot area (315 S Hollywood St, south of Central Ave, between the Children’s Museum and Liberty Bowl). The mulch will be provided on a load-your-own, while-it-last, basis and customers must provide their own loading equipment and containers. Commercial businesses and non-Memphis residents are not eligible for the free mulch.
