TDEC Office of Energy Programs Offers Regional Energy Finance Workshops

Through a grant from the U.S. Department of Energy, the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation’s Office of Energy Programs (TDEC OEP) is currently providing education, outreach, and technical assistance to local jurisdictions, K-12 schools, and public housing authorities to support implementation of energy efficiency projects in these sectors.

As part this effort, TDEC OEP will be hosting a series of regional workshops in April that will focus on common energy conservation measures, the principles and applicability of financing options (such as energy performance contracting), case studies of successful energy efficiency projects, and recent developments in outdoor lighting improvements.

These workshops are ideal for newly elected or re-elected officials, fiscal decision-makers, and other administrators who are interested in learning more about energy efficiency programs, resources, and incentives. Each workshop is scheduled from 10am - 2pm local time and will include a working lunch.
