Selected for National Planning Award
American Planning Association recognizes GREENPRINT 2015/2040 for Excellence in Sustainability
Memphis-Shelby County Recognized for National Excellence as One of the Nation’s Most Sustainable Communities
National organization recognizes Memphis-Shelby County as a leader in sustainability
Memphis-Shelby County Office of Sustainability and Shelby County Engineering program with support from Tennessee Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects received a $20,000 grant. They will install multiple green infrastructure demonstration rain gardens at the Peggy W. Edmiston Administration Building on Mullins Station Road and will offer multiple educational sessions to homeowners.
Memphis-Shelby County has been designated as a Valley Sustainable GOLD Community in Tennessee Valley Authority’s (TVA) economic development program.
East Arkansas Planning and Development District (“EAPDD”), in partnership with Shelby County Government, TN seeks to retain the services of one or more consultant firms to provide professional services for the development of the Mid-South Regional Food System Assessment. EAPDD is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit written proposals from consultants or consultant teams who are interested in providing such services.
