Farmer’s Market & garden talks at Bobby Lanier Farm Park

Thursday evenings, June 6 through August 29, 5 to 7:30 p.m.

Committed to good health and sustainable lifestyle practices our farmer’s market features locally grown farm fresh produce available for purchase. Special programming, live music, garden talks (see schedule below), family activities, cooking demonstrations, and farm fresh dining are all part of the Farm Park Farmer’s Market experience.

Garden Talks

Thursdays, June 6 through August 29, 5:30 and 6:30 p.m.

Free to the public

Enhance your gardening skills and learn about the latest trends in earth-friendly living. Topics include healthy eating, organic flower and vegetable gardening, and “farm to table” cooking demonstrations, to name a few. Garden Talks are kicked off by Daisy Siskins, Co-Author of “Little House in the Suburbs: Backyard farming and home skills for self-sufficient living.” Subsequently all talks will be led by our resident “Farmer Carl” and Amanda Carmichael of Methodist Hospitals.

August 15 5:30 p.m. – Peppers

August 22 6:00 p.m. – Making Healthy Eating a Part of Your Total Lifestyle

August 29 6:00 p.m. – Physical Activity is Key to Living Well
